This applet draws a rotating globe which is based on an rectangular image file. The speed of rotation can be adjusted using the "+" and "-" keys. Also, the left mouse-button pauses, and the right mouse-button reverses direction. By default, the program uses an map image of the Earth to construct a rotating globe. However, other images can be used in same manor to create interesting effects.
